Users of Hyperbaric Therapy:

Peter Reid: 1998 Triathlete of the year.  1998 IRONMAN World Triathlon Champion.  1998 hawaii IRONMAN Champion.  Peter Wrote, "I still swear by his chamber and take it to all of my big events".  He uses the chamber every second day for 45 to 50 minutes.  He said, "typically the days that I use the chamber are my hardest days of training".

 

John Howard:  12 time USCF and NORBA National Cycling Champion, Olympian and Iron Man Winner.  John Howard conducts his cycling and Multi-Sport School of Champions nationwide and uses the portable 3-psi portable hyperbaric chamber in his training program.  He has written about the mild portable hyperbaric chamber for bicycle Racing Monthly.  He reported after a 10-month evaluation significant performance advantages from day to day use of the chamber.  His conclusion was documented through increase oxygen uptake, as shown in an actual CompTrainer power test.  He also recognized improved recovery rates from race and training rides, as well as reduced fat from a skin fold test.

Mark Allen:  (6-time World Champion Iron Man Triathlete), triathlon times, 1996, Published an interview about the effectiveness on the mild portable hyperbaric Chamber in his training, which he credited as an important part of hi improved performance.

 

 

Eric Harr:  US Professional Triathlete, ranked #6 in the world, is preparing for the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia.  He was interviewed by Marin Independent Journal about his training, with coach Joe Beer, which includes regular use of the mild portable hyperbaric chamber.  Eric equates 45 minutes of treatment to three hours of sleep for him, and has decreased his body fat from 1% to 5%, increased his stamina and endurance, lowered his resting heart rate, and has believes it has a therapeutic effect in maintaining his psychological equilibrium, as well as lowering his perception of physical exertion.
